Good town in Colorado for a ski trip?

I want to vacation in Colorado, but I can not find any good resorts. I would prefer, if not all including a cabin or something would be really cool. This will be my first time skiing / snowboarding. Or even some cities would be nice helpful.Thank for your time.

In Denver there are plenty of ski resorts. Look up the mountain, Vail, Keystone, Copper, Brekenridge. Copper was one of my favorites.Enjoy!
