Is it too late for me to become a pro snowboarder?

Its something iv wanted all my life but i never got to learn how to snowboard because my parents don’t approve of it. my dad thinks it shouldn’t be for girls so he never let me snowboard. Im turning 18 in two months which means i will get to do what i want!!! iv decided to take snowboarding lessons and try it my best!
Im always watching snowboarding videos and competitions it has always grabbed my attention.
is it to late for mr to ever become pro to start at 18 with no experience? please be honest?

No way is it too late!! I’m 14, I started snowboarding half a year ago. I spent almost every day of my summer holidays at snowplanet, from about 2-10, and now i can do 180′s off massive jumps, no problem. Just keep at it. It’s hard, frustrating and infuriating at first, but then it’ll get easier, fast. GO FOR IT!
